It was formed by British govt. in 1902 in order to maintain law and the order of the county. They have their own Ranks and they work According to that. These types of officer is known for Detectives or CID Officers.

The main work of "CID" Is to investigate About Rape, Murder, Robbery, etc. It collect Evidence, facts, criminal cases, robbery cases, Crime cases and finally present the accused with the Evidence in the Court.
